About Vermentino
The Vermentino variety can be found under fairly intensive cultivation in nearly all the Mediterranean coastal districts from Spain to Liguria and on the two major islands semi-enclosed by that arc, Corsica and Sardinia.  Vermentino is clearly Spanish in origin, and although its appearance on Sardinia was fairly recent, it is now considered one of Sardinia’s greatest wines.

 MDC Vermentino
This unwooded wine has high tone floral aromatics with bell pepper and apple nuances and shows pronounced bitter almond overtones.  The concentrated palate is viscous and broad yet is focused by a refreshing acidity.  The wine finishes cleanly with lingering acidity and peachy flavours.
